Paying.co is a 100+ person team that builds the software behind the world's payment terminals, EV chargers, parking meters, vending machines, kiosks, and point-of-sale systems. We've shipped across the United States, Latin America, Canada, the Caribbean, and Europe — and the experience that built the company comes from every one of those markets.
Paying.co started as Mojave Technologies, a payment-industry specialist firm working alongside acquirers, ISVs, and ISOs to ship the complicated middleware that everyone needs but no one wants to build twice. The work has always been the same: take the hard, technical, unglamorous parts of payments and make them work reliably.
What changed is the scale. The team is 100+ people now. The portfolio includes payment gateways, software for EV charging, petroleum, attended and unattended parking, self-ordering kiosks, point-of-sale systems, and AI-driven security tooling. The geography stretches across four continents.
It's the one thing we won't compromise on. Every role, every meeting, every decision points back to: did the customer get what they needed, and did the project ship successfully? That's the bar — nothing else really counts.
EMV Level 3 certifications, Android payment terminals, SoftPOS, AI-driven log monitoring, unattended kiosks — the work is genuinely interesting. We like the people we work with, and the day-to-day has room for both rigor and a real sense of humor.
We build scalable products and platforms alongside custom work — with 100+ engineers across two continents. Real software, real intellectual property, real accountability — not just hours billed to a task list.
From initial scope to technical delivery to certification — one team, one accountable contact, one delivery. We do not hand off the hardest parts of a project to someone else and hope it works out. We ship it ourselves.
Decades of combined payment-industry experience — from EMV certification programs to acquirer integrations to unattended commerce platforms. Each of them is hands-on with the customers and the projects.
These are the people at the front line of every engagement — the first call, the day-to-day project management, the contracts, the deliverables. Engineering and certification teams sit behind them; this is who you'll hear from most.
Reach out and tell us about your project. We typically respond within one business day, and the first call is always with someone who can scope your build — not a recruiter, not a queue.
